Lawrence, Mass. – June 1, 2022 – Mary Immaculate Health Care/Services, a member of Covenant Health, announced today that CARF International has certified its Nursing and Restorative Center for a period of three years. The Center is a 231-bed community that offers skilled nursing as well as physical, occupational and speech rehabilitation services.
The CARF certification represents the highest level of accreditation that can be awarded to an organization and demonstrates Mary Immaculate’s substantial conformance to CARF’s standards. More specifically, a three-year certification denotes that Mary Immaculate’s nursing and restorative center completed a rigorous peer review process and demonstrated to a team of surveyors, during an on-site visit, that its programs and services are of the highest quality and that they are both measurable and accountable.
“The Mary Immaculate team has been providing healing and care for the whole person, in service to all in our communities, for decades,” shares Del Downing, NHA, Executive Director, Mary Immaculate Health/Care Services’ Nursing and Restorative Center. “Earning this important accreditation further validates the exemplary and compassionate care we deliver to our residents and patients each and every day.”
