Senior Leadership

jeanne leydonJeanne Leydon, LICSW, ACSW, President/CEO
As President/CEO of Mary Immaculate Health/Care Services (MIHCS), Jeanne Leydon, LICSW, ACSW, is responsible for the oversight and management of the full continuum of care offered at Mary Immaculate. This includes the MI Residential Community, a nationally recognized subsidized housing complex; Marguerite’s House, a separate assisted-living residence with 106 private units; MI Adult Day Health bilingual/bicultural programs at Maple Street, La Casita and La Casa de Maria Inmaculada; MI Transportation and the MI Nursing/Restorative Center. Jeanne joined MIHCS in 2009 as the Administrator for Home and Community-Based Services.

Her professional experience also includes tenure as Director of Consumer Services at the Greater Lynn Senior Services, Inc., (GLSS) and in Director and Manager positions in Hospice Care. Jeanne earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from San Francisco State University and her Master of Social Work from Simmons College.

del downingDel Downing, NHA, Executive Director, MI Nursing / Restorative Center
Most recently, Del served as Area Vice President for Golden Living in Canton, Mass., where he oversaw a region that included more than 1,600 beds. During his tenure, his leadership guided the organization to improved resident satisfaction rates and expanded relationships with local accountable care organizations (ACOs).

Del holds a Master of Science in Health Care Administration from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell, earned a Bachelor of Arts in Organizational Management from Alaska Pacific University and served in the United States Air Force. He resides in Manchester, N.H.

alysia popeAlysia Pope, RN, Director of Nursing
Alysia Pope joined Mary Immaculate in 2018 as Director of Nursing for the Nursing/Restorative Center, a 231-bed skilled nursing facility with short-term rehabilitation and specialty memory care. Alysia has extensive clinical and leadership experience, and leverages this to drive the continued success of the nursing team. She ensures the highest degree of resident and patient care is consistently maintained. She also is responsible for the efficient operation of medical records, pharmacy services and physician relations.

Prior to joining MI, Alysia was Director of Nursing at Wingate of Andover and Life Care Center of Stoneham. She also held the roles of both director of nursing and assistant director of nursing/staff development coordinator at Park Avenue Health Center in Arlington, Mass. Alysia resides in Woburn, Mass., attended Somerville Hospital School of Nursing and is a registered nurse.

adrienne cullenAdrienne Cullen, Director of Mission Integration and Spiritual Care Advisor
Adrienne Cullen serves as Director of Mission Integration and Spiritual Care Supervisor at Mary Immaculate Health/Care Services (MIHCS). Most recently, Cullen served as a Pastoral Associate at the Catholic Community of Billerica, Mass. Prior to that, she was a Pastoral Assistant at St. Andrew Parish, also in Billerica. She earned both her Post-Masters Certificate in Spiritual Formation/Direction and Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, Mass.

In addition, Cullen holds a Spiritual Direction Certificate from Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wis. as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C.

leah dohertyLeah Doherty, PHR, Director of Human Resources
Leah Doherty is responsible for the overall administration, coordination and evaluation of the Human Resource function throughout Mary Immaculate. Prior to joining MI, Leah gained 15 years of Human Resource Management experience in a variety of healthcare and food service settings. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from the University of New Hampshire.

Leah is a certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR), a designation awarded by HR Certification Institute, the credentialing body for Human Resource professionals. She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), and the Northeast Human Resource Association.
