Mary Immaculate Guild Donates $12,000, It’s Largest Gift Ever, to Support Employee Wellness at Mary Immaculate’s Nursing/Restorative Center

Lawrence, Mass. – June 11, 2024 – The Mary Immaculate (MI) Guild, Inc., is a community service organization that supports the MI Nursing/Restorative Center’s Mission to provide healing and care for the whole person in service to all in their communities. Recently, the Guild presented a $12,000 donation to the Center to support employee wellness at its Annual Installation of Officers meeting.

“This $12,000 gift is a significant contribution. I am proud to say it’s earmarked to support employee wellness initiatives,” shares Joseph Bourque, president, MI Guild, who has deep Lawrence roots. “Our membership has grown over the last year and dues are the lifeblood of the organization – 100% of membership dues funded this gift.”

The Guild presents a gift to the Ml Nursing/Restorative Center annually. Last year’s gift of $10,000 helped fund the doubling of capacity in MI’s newly designed memory care unit. This year’s gift of $12,000 will be allocated to employee wellness projects that include encouraging employees to take the stairs that will now have piped in music and feature original paintings by a local artist. This will also keep the elevators open for residents and visitors.
