Gerry Foley receives Legacy of Leading Award
On May 24th, Gerry Foley, SVP at Covenant Health and former president and CEO of Mary Immaculate, received the Legacy of Leading Award from Home Health VNA in Lawrence. Presented each year by Home Health VNA, this award pays tribute to those in our community who demonstrate support of the health and well-being of the Greater Merrimack Valley communities.
Gerry’s contributions were certainly many as President and CEO of Mary Immaculate and EVP/COO of Lawrence General Hospital. In addition to implementing the Mary Immaculate Guild (formerly known as the “Men’s Guild” of Holy Family Hospital), he also launched the renovation of the first floor at Mary Immaculate Nursing/Restorative Center and guided the person-centered care of dining on each of the floors. As a long-time member and current Trustee of Leading Age Massachusetts, he is in constant search of innovation, best practices, and excellence across the continuum of care.
We congratulate Gerry on his many successes. May we continue to be inspired by his example and his good work.
