Employee of the Month
January Employee of the Month
Dionne Cranston Neal started her career at Mary Immaculate on December 28 1994. Dionne has dedicated the past twenty four years to living the mission of Mary Immaculate. Dionne is a shining example of MI’s shared values in action. The compassion she has for residents and staff is evident in the way she makes sure that people’s needs are met. Taking calls at all hours of the night, shuffling schedules to accommodate sick calls from staff, ensuring that daily operations meet our resident’s needs.
Dionne demonstrates her commitment to collaboration with nursing, activities and mission, stopping at the store on her way home to pick up special requests for activities or resident birthday parties is routine for Dionne. Planning menus and executing special meals for our Delight in Diversity program is done with great pride.
Whether she is preparing special meals for a cultural preference of a resident or just managing the inventory in the freezer or refrigerator, Dionne works with integrity. She walks the walk, not just the talk. She can be counted on to do it right and get it right, whatever the task. Striving for excellence and committed to quality Dionne works hard each day. She is also ambitious. At the end of each day Dionne takes an extra hour to work on a course of study to earn a certification for Dietary Manager. Congratulations, Dionne, and thank you for your dedicated service to the residents of MI.
